Peer pressure is the social pressure by members of one’s peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values or otherwise conform in order to be accepted. All over the world people are coerced into doing things that they otherwise would not. Since we were children, we’ve all dealt with peer pressure in one form or another. It can vary from the consumption of alcohol to being pressured to act in ways that you otherwise would not. The pressures from our parents and families can help us to adopt positive habits and values whereas friends can be bad influences and lead us to adopt negative habits. When your pressured to go against your internal feelings of morality and ethics in order to be accepted within a group, it can be detrimental. However, the same pressure that forces you out of your comfort zones can also lead us to discovering new talents, loves, passions and even discoveries about ourselves. TWITTER POST

Twitter is an online news and social networking service where users post and interact with messages called tweets. Twitter is the fastest way to get real time information from around the world. It’s much like a newspaper that automatically updates as new stories occur. By following athletes, journalists or people behind the scenes, you can get perspectives and access you can’t find anywhere else. The same is true for politics, news, music and even your friends and family. You don’t have to read everything that gets tweeted. WORLD WIDE KEYS

The Internet as we know it today has changed drastically since my first discovery of it. When I first discovered the internet it was a big deal. Everyone didn’t have one in their households like we do now. Logging on to the internet was a task. It took between five to ten minutes to finally be connected. While we waited, we were accosted by the loudest, most annoying screeching noise you’ve ever heard. There were often freezes and glitches but it’s understandable since it was a fairly new addition to technology. Regardless, the internet was full of discoveries. For the first time ever, you didn’t need to go to the library and rent a book out of such a limited choice selection. Google, Ask Jeeves, Lycos and other various search engines became my best friends. It was amazing. I could ask any question in the world and receive an accurate and plausible answer. To a young kid that’s beginning to question the world around him, it a blessing to me, my parents and siblings. As I got o...
